The Cagetown tent is a model currently under development at KanSilva, inspired by Canadian military tents and designed to offer robustness, reliability, and versatility. Its design adopts a functional and assertive aesthetic reminiscent of installations used in demanding environments, while being adapted for a more comfortable camping and glamping experience.

Designed as a three-season tent, Cagetown is intended for use from spring to autumn. Its structure is designed to offer good resistance to outdoor conditions and to allow for the integration of an air conditioning system, which helps maintain a high level of comfort during hot summer periods.

Its identity is directly inspired by 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown, located in New Brunswick and recognized as one of the country's main military installations. This inspiration translates into a design that evokes discipline, endurance, and adaptability.

Still under development, Cagetown represents KanSilva's vision of a distinctive glamping tent combining Canadian inspiration, robust character, and modern comfort for stays in the heart of nature.

When will the Cagetown tent be available for purchase?

The Cagetown tent is not yet widely available. As KanSilva is a small company, we first want to consolidate our supply chain and assembly process for the Hans Sovereignty, our main model.

Therefore, we cannot yet confirm an official launch date. However, if you are truly set on the Cagetown, it is possible to have it custom-made to your specifications.

As this model is not kept in stock and our team must prioritize its commitments related to the Hans Sovereignty, please allow a production time of several months. To discuss your project, please contact us at info@kansilva.ca.

Can I have a custom tent designed to my specifications?

Yes. KanSilva can assist you in designing and manufacturing a custom tent according to your needs, dimensions, and specific requirements.

However, we prioritize members of our Ambassador program, i.e., the first 100 customers who purchased one of our tent models.

As an indication, the estimated timelines are as follows:

Ambassador Members: approximately 1 month for design and 2 months for manufacturing, totaling about 3 months.
Other customers: approximately 2 months for design and 4 months for manufacturing, totaling about 6 months.

These timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the project, the accuracy of the information provided, the availability of materials, and any modifications requested during the design phase.

May I suggest improvements or recommendations for the Cagetown tent?

Absolutely! Our tents come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and defects in materials. During this period, we will repair or replace any product with an issue covered by the warranty, free of charge.

Please note that normal wear and tear, misuse, and accidental damage are not covered.

Each tent also comes with a repair kit, allowing you to repair the mosquito mesh, tent walls, and floor.
