Thunder Cove is a 3-season tent model currently under development at KanSilva. Its concept is directly inspired by the coastal landscapes of Thunder Cove, Prince Edward Island, known for their ocher cliffs, erosion-sculpted beaches, and warm-toned rock formations.

Its design adopts this natural identity through a distinctive orange palette reminiscent of the region's characteristic red sandstone cliffs. The goal is to create a welcoming, bright, and warm tent, designed for both glamping and extended summer getaways.

Thunder Cove is designed to offer a comfortable and functional space during spring, summer, and autumn. Its structure includes the possibility of integrating an air conditioning system to maintain a pleasant temperature on particularly hot days. Its openings and overall design also aim to promote good air circulation.

Still in the development stage, Thunder Cove represents KanSilva's vision of a 3-season glamping tent combining comfort, Canadian character, and a design directly inspired by the landscapes of Prince Edward Island.

When will the Thunder Cove tent be available for purchase?

The Thunder Cove tent is not yet widely available. As KanSilva is a small company, we first want to consolidate our supply chain and assembly process for the Hans Sovereignty, our main model.

Therefore, we cannot yet confirm an official launch date. However, if you are truly set on the Thunder Cove, it can be custom-made to order according to your specifications.

As this model is not kept in stock and our team must prioritize its commitments related to the Hans Sovereignty, please allow a manufacturing period of several months. To discuss your project, please contact us at info@kansilva.ca.

Can I have a custom tent designed to my specifications?

Can I have a custom tent designed to meet my specific needs?

Yes. KanSilva can help you design and manufacture a custom tent tailored to your specific needs, dimensions, and requirements.

However, we prioritize members of our Ambassador program, which consists of the first 100 customers who purchased one of our tent models.

As an indication, the estimated lead times are as follows:

Ambassador Members: approximately 1 month for design and 2 months for manufacturing, for a total of approximately 3 months.
Other customers: approximately 2 months for design and 4 months for manufacturing, for a total of approximately 6 months.

These lead times may vary depending on the project's complexity, the accuracy of the information provided, material availability, and modifications requested during the design phase.

Can I offer some improvements or recommendations for the Thunder Cove tent?

Absolutely! Our tents come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and defects in materials. During this period, we will repair or replace any product with an issue covered by the warranty, free of charge.

Please note that normal wear and tear, misuse, and accidental damage are not covered.

Each tent also comes with a repair kit, allowing you to repair the mosquito mesh, tent walls, and floor.
